Florinda is a redesign of the traditional flowerpot. It respects the traditional aesthetic and enhances its functionality, incorporating a system that allows to take advantage of all irrigation water by retaining the excess of it that usually drips from the bottom of the pot, storing it until the plants needs it and this way reducing the irrigation water supply up to ten days. This system would save yearly millions of litres in the consumption of water of a city. 

It also provides thermal insulation to protect plant roots from cold and heat.

Its components are made of recycled and recyclable materials available in different colours so that there are different possible colour combinations.
